Description 
Polyclonal Antibody against Giantin Form Antiserum Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Giantin Polyclonal Antibody Human, Monkey, Rodent Specificity This polyclonal antibody was raised against the N-terminus, residues 1-469, of human giantin. Giantin is a membrane-inserted component of the cis and medial Golgi with a large rod-like cytoplasmic domain. This antibody serves as an excellent marker for the Golgi complex in mammalian cells. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting and immunofluorescence. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Notes *Predicted MW = 367 kD. Western transfer should be conducted in the presence of 0.1% SDS. After transfer, rinse blot with 50% MeOH to remove any residual SDS. Storage Giantin Polyclonal Antibody Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
