Description 
Monoclonal Antibody against Depolymerized β-Tubulin Clone SMI-61 Form Ascites Fluid (contains 0.01M sodium azide) Host Mouse Species Reactivity Mammalian IsoType IgM Specificity Depolymerized β-Tubulin (SMI 61) Monoclonal Antibody SMI 61 reacts with depolymerized β-tubulin. The staining pattern reflects the wide distribution of this protein. SMI 61 reacts with most mammalian species in neuronal and non-neuronal tissue. This IgM antibody reacts with goat antimouse IgG and mouse ClonoPAP® via the light chains common to IgG and IgM. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Depolymerized β-Tubulin (SMI 61) Monoclonal Antibody The extent of permissible dilution of SMI 61 beyond those recommended for general application depends upon nature and concentration of the antigen examined, species of the antigen, method of fixation and kind of section examined.
Notes Tissue Preparation: SMI 61 reacts on vibratome, frozen and paraffin sections. Tissues can be fixed in a variety of paraformaldehyde or formaldehyde-containing fixatives. Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
