Description: The HA ELISA offers resarchers a simple effective method for determining HA levels in human, animal biological fluids or cell supernatants. Multiple studies have shown that serum HA levels are directly corelated to liver disease(1). Recent publicationshave shown that HA levels in urine are indicatave of bladder cancer(2). Data indicates a relationship between HA levels, local inflammation and severity of disease, and suggests enhanced breakdown of HA in the lungs of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) .
