Application
Na-carbonate (carb-bicarb) buffer for use in protein and antibody coating procedures.
Physical form
Product is a preformulated powder to be dissolved for use by diagnostic or clinical laboratories or by manufacturers of diagnostic reagents or kits. Prepare the Single Use Disposable Solution (SUDS) by dissolving the powder in 1L of purified water for a 1X working solution of 0.05 M sodium carbonate-bicarbonate buffer with pH 9.6 at 25 °C. Approximately 70:30 bicarb:carb ratio.
Suitability
Suitable for use as a coating buffer for protein-coating procedures on microtiter plates and plastic tubes for radioimmunoassay (RIA) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) techniques
