CD131 / CSF2RB / IL3RB / IL5RB抗体 Background
Colony stimulating factor 2 receptor, beta, low-affinity, also known as Cytokine receptor common subunit beta, CSF2RB, CDw131, and CD131, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to thetype I cytokine receptor family and Type 4 subfamily. It is a 897 amino acid protein which the sequence is further processed into a mature form. The cytokine receptor is a heterodimer of an alpha and a beta subunit, and this beta subunit (CD131) is also the common and high affinity receptor to the interleukin-3, interleukin-5 and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor. It contains two fibronectin type-III domains. The WSXWS motif of CD131 appears to be necessary for proper protein folding and thereby efficient intracellular transport and cell-surface receptor binding. The box 1 motif of CD131 is required for JAK interaction and/or activation.
