g/ml BSA and 50% glycerol.
This enzyme is stable and a fraction of a unit can be incubated for extended periods of time (16 hrs) to give complete digestion of DNA. Bal I is sensitive to NaCl concentrations higher than 40 mM and to overlapping dcm methylation.
