培养箱水盘消毒剂是多功能性，即用型的浓缩溶液，用来消毒CO₂培养箱中的水盘，可有效杀灭细菌、酵母菌和真菌。培养箱水盘消毒剂基于苯甲酸钠，其可由水果及调味料中自然产生，可用于很多工业上，如：在食物及药物中可作为防腐剂，在水上运输中作为防蚀剂。
 
CO₂培养箱在细胞培养中普遍使用，高湿度及适宜温度为培养箱中细胞污染的滋生提供条件，要提前预防，避免污染出现。建议每2周或至少1个月，进行一次系统地清洁和消毒培养箱。培养箱水盘消毒剂作为有效的抗菌剂，可预防重复污染。CO₂培养箱使用的水是重要的污染源，将50 ml 培养箱水盘消毒剂加至5 L双蒸灭菌水中，每2-4周更换一次培养箱中的水。
 
【预防处理】
预防处理是最有效的做法，可长期预防污染，且对细胞和组织影响小。当微生物污染很少时，消毒过程明显简单且有效。因此，适度及彻底清洁是消毒过程的首要条件，预防比处理时的问题更容易。
 
【环境的注意事项】
消毒剂是实验室卫生条例中所必需的，其不能瞬间起作用，需要持续一段时间才能达到杀菌活性的最佳效果。
破坏病原菌的发生主要有以下三个阶段：

1. 最初阶段：消毒剂开始时显示活性。
2. 中间阶段：大部分微生物被杀灭，而非全部。
3. 最后阶段：有抵抗力的微生物被破坏。

 【使用方法】

1. 从-20 ℃冰箱中取出该产品，读取标签，检查产品包装与外观。
2. 使用前恢复至室温（15-30 ℃），消毒液擦拭后置于超净台内。
3. 推荐每100 ml无菌水中加入1ml 水盘消毒剂（1：100稀释）。
4. 混匀后，即可使用。

【储存条件及保质期】
产品应该储存在-20℃~-10℃，使用前应解冻至室温，避光保存，并在产品标签上注明的有效期内使用。有效期：24个月。
当有如下情况时，产品将不能再使用，需丢弃。

• 颜色改变
• 凝集出碎片、颗粒或沉淀物时
• 不可溶性
• 性能降低
