产品活性：Almorexant (ACT 078573) hydrochloride 是一种口服有效且竞争性的双 orexin receptor 拮抗剂，Kd 分别为 1.3 nM (OX1) 和 0.17 nM (OX2)。Almorexant hydrochloride 可逆地阻断食欲素-A 和食欲素-B 多肽信号。Almorexant hydrochloride 完全阻断细胞内 Ca2+ 信号通路。Almorexant hydrochloride 刺激 AsPC-1 细胞 caspase-3 活性，诱导细胞凋亡 (apoptosis)。

In Vitro: Almorexant hydrochloride (1 μM) promote tyrosine phosphorylation of SHP2/OX1R complex.
?Almorexant hydrochloride (1 μM) inhibits the cellular growth of AsPC-1 cells.
In Vivo: Almorexant hydrochloride (1.8 μmol/kg, 100 μL; IP, daily) reduces the volume of tumors.
?Almorexant hydrochloride (300 mg/kg, PO, once) can help rats to be fully capable of spatial and avoidance learning.
?Almorexant hydrochloride (30-300 mg/kg) dose-dependently increases rapid eye movement (REM) and non-REM (NREM) sleep and decreases wakefulness apparently without inducing either cataplexy or deficits in next-day performance.
