The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1215 recognizes the DAB2 adapter protein that functions as clathrin-associated sorting protein (CLASP) required for clathrin-mediated endocytosis of selected cargo proteins. DAB2 mRNA is expressed in normal ovarian epithelial cells but is down-regulated or absent from ovarian carcinoma cell lines. Down-regulation of DAB2 may play an important role in ovarian carcinogenesis. Required for the epithelial to mesenchymal transition, a process necessary for proper embryonic development. DAB2 may be involved in myeloid cell differentiation and can induce macrophage adhesion and spreading.
