Description Monoclonal Antibody against Endoplasmic Reticulum Amyloid Beta Binding Protein (ERAB)

This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone 10D12 Form ERAB (10D12) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Tissue Culture Supernatant (in PBS; no preservatives or carrier proteins) Host Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType IgG2b/kappa [Ab] 1 mg/mL Specificity Signet’s ERAB antibody, Clone 10D12, is specific for the recombinant human ERAB protein (27kDa). ERAB is also known as HSD-10 and ABAD. The clone 10D12 recognizes the endogenous ERAB protein in extracts from cells with virtually no cross-reactivity to other human proteins in immunoblots and ELISA assays. Cross-reactivity to mouse or other species has not been tested. The clone 10D12’s epitope has been mapped to amino acids 61-67 (APSTRVS).
ERAB has been associated with amyloid beta neurotoxicity. ERAB is an intracellular 27kDa polypeptide which appears to be up regulated in the brains of Alzheimer’s disease patients.
This antibody was generated against recombinant, full-length human ERAB protein.Uses ERAB (10D12) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. Storage Store at -20°C or below. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. Do not store in frost-free freezers.
