Rabbit anti Human SMARCE1 antibody recognizes SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily E member 1.
SMARCE1 forms part of the ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SWI/SNF, required for transcriptional activation of genes normally inhibited by chromatin. Mutations in the genes encoding members of this complex, including SMARCE1, have been observed in a variety of cancers (Biegel et al. 2014).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
