It is highly expressed in spleen followed by thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas, placenta, and may play a special role in the immune response; it is weakly expressed in lung, kidney, prostate, ovary and colon. IKKi/IKKe is also overexpressed in breast cancers. |
