背景介绍
TCR Vγ5Vδ1 refers to a specific type of T cell receptor (TCR) found on γδ T cells. These cells are a distinct subset of T lymphocytes that play a role in immune responses, particularly in maintaining tissue integrity and responding to stress signals. The Vγ5Vδ1 TCR is uniquely expressed on a population of T cells called dendritic epidermal T cells (DETCs) that reside in the epidermis (PMID: 35260830, 35031803). The Vγ5Vδ1 TCR-CD3 complex forms an asymmetric dimer, with the Vγ5 domains of each protomer interacting to create a back-to-back structure. This dimeric form is essential for T cell activation (PMID: 38657677).
