背景介绍
LY75, also known as DEC-205 and CD205, is a type I transmembrane protein mainly expressed on dendritic cells and thymic epithelial cells. It belongs to the mannose receptor family and contains multiple domains, including a cysteine-rich N-terminal domain, a fibronectin type II domain, and C-type lectin-like domains. DEC-205 functions as an endocytic receptor, facilitating antigen uptake and presentation to initiate immune responses (PMID: 26871602, PMID: 33257321).
