Both probes are fluorescent conjugates of zoledronate, a widely used bisphosphonate drug in clinical applications. These bright and photostable imaging probes can be used for confocal microscopy imaging. Detection in the far red/near infrared optical window will minimize the interference from tissue autofluorescence.
