描述: 1,2-didecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate is one kind of phosphatidic acid, which is a minor constituent of biological membranes is a simplest glycerophospholipid. It has glycerol backbone with phosphate present at C-3 position. The C-1 and C-2 positions are esterified with fatty acids.It is used as a component in the lipid bilayer to study how lipid geometry acts in coat protein I (COPI) vesicle fission, and maybe used to activate protein kinase C (PKC).
