Dde Biotin-DBCO is an azide-reactive biotin probe that allows for efficient release of the captured biomolecules from streptavidin. This probe contains a biotin moiety linked to an DBCO group through a hydrazine cleavable Dde linker. Captured biomolecules can be efficiently released under mild aqueous conditions with hydrazine.DBCO reagents are the most commonly used substrates for strain-promoted copper-free azide-alkyne click chemistry reactions. DBCO compounds react with azide functionalized compounds or biomolecules without the need for a Cu(I) catalyst to result in a stable triazole linkage.
