描述: Hydroxy Naphthol Blue disodium is an azo dye metal indicator used for the colorimetric detection of calcium and alkaline earth ions. At pH 12-13, it forms a reddish-pink complex with Ca²⁺, which turns deep blue upon EDTA chelation (λmax 650 nm). This property makes it valuable for in vitro water hardness testing and calcium endpoint determination in complexometric titrations.
