L-苯丙氨酸可用作细胞培养基质组分。[1]它被用来制备Dulbecco′s 改良Eagle′s培养基，可用作维持人胚胎肾脏293T细胞原代细胞的基础培养基。[2]
生化/生理作用
L-苯丙氨酸是一种基本氨基酸。它参与许多神经递质，比如多巴胺，肾上.腺素，去甲肾上.腺素，I-DOPA（二羟基苯丙氨酸），黑色素和甲状腺素的合成。L-苯丙氨酸代谢同样会生成苯基乙胺，在大脑内产生兴奋剂效果，加强情绪。[3]

application
L-phenylalanine can be used as a component of cell culture matrix. [1] It is used to prepare Dulbecco's improved Eagle's culture medium, which can be used as the basic culture medium for maintaining primary 293T cells in human embryonic kidney. [2]
Biochemical/physiological effects
L-phenylalanine is a basic amino acid. It is involved in the synthesis of many neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, adrenaline, norepinephrine, I-DOPA (dihydroxyphenylalanine), melanin, and thyroxine. L-phenylalanine metabolism also produces phenylethylamine, which has a stimulant effect in the brain and enhances emotions. [3]
