描述
CD80 是一种 60 kD 高度糖基化的蛋白质。它是Ig超家族的成员，也被称为B7-1，B7和Ly-53。CD80在树突状细胞和单核细胞/巨噬细胞上形成型表达，在活化的B和T细胞上诱导表达。T细胞上的CD28与抗原呈递细胞（如树突状细胞、巨噬细胞和B细胞）上的CD80和CD86（B7-2）连接引起T细胞的共同刺激，从而增强细胞活化、增殖和细胞因子产生。CD80在免疫应答中的表达似乎比CD86晚。CD80还可以与CD152（也称为CTLA-4）结合，向T细胞传递抑制信号。

Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes
Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunoprecipitation², in vitro and in vivo blocking of CTLA-4 Ig to CD80 by blocking costimulation of T cells by activated B cells^2-4, and immunohistochemical staining of *-fixed frozen sections^1,4. The Ultra-LEAF™ purified antibody (Endotoxin < 0.01 EU/µg, Azide-Free, 0.2 µm filtered) is recommended for functional assays (Cat. Nos. 104747-104752).
