I-Block 试剂是一种高纯度基于酪蛋白的封闭试剂。与干乳和 BSA 相比具有更出色的封闭能力。与其他基于酪蛋白的封闭试剂不同，I-Block 试剂基本上无生物素。在使用 Tropix 底物和碱性磷酸酶偶联物的测定中检测 I-Block 试剂，在基于膜和免疫检测应用中用作封闭试剂。
建议的工作浓度为 0.2% (w/v)，用于检测中性或带正电荷尼龙膜上的核酸以及在膜（硝酸纤维素、PVDF 或中性尼龙）上进行免疫检测和蛋白检测。对于带正电荷尼龙膜（如 TropilonPlus 膜）上的蛋白检测，建议浓度为 3%。I-Block 封闭溶液在加热 (40-50°C) 下在 Tris 或磷酸盐缓冲盐水缓冲液中制备。
这种基于酪蛋白的封闭试剂可与 Western-Light、Western-Light Plus、Western-Star、ELISA-Light、Southern-Light 和 Southern-Star 检测系统配合使用。
