NF-kappa-B is a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in several biological processes. It is held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state by specific inhibitors. Upon degradation of the inhibitor, NF-kappa-B moves to the nucleus and activates transcription of specific genes. NF-kappa-B is composed of NFKB1 or NFKB2 bound to either REL, RELA, or RELB. The most abundant form of NF-kappa-B is NFKB1 complexed with the product of this gene, RELA. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. 下沙 各位战友，关于NF-kB的激活，我查了一些资料，有人认为通过western研究P65的表达量可以反映NF-kB的激活。因为P65的磷酸化和IkB的磷酸化可以反映NF-kB的激活，我比较困惑的是到底采用western检测P65、磷酸化P65还是IkB呢？是检测胞浆中的蛋白吗？如果是检测P65，NF-kB激活时，P65是升高还是降低呢？谢谢！ magichunter 1、提取细胞全蛋白，然后测定磷酸化的P65表达，如果表达
