抗生素/抗真菌溶液（ABAMS）是一种50毫升100倍的溶液，旨在帮助研究人员降低细菌和真菌污染的风险。它由盐溶液中的10000单位/mL青霉素、10000μg/mL链霉素和25μg/mL两性霉素B组成。青霉素干扰细菌细胞壁合成的最后阶段，而链霉素与30S亚基结合，导致误读。两性霉素增强了真菌细胞壁的渗透性，使其易受内部内容物泄漏的影响。每99mL培养基使用1mL ABAMS。溶液通过0.2μm膜过滤器进行无菌过滤。
Antibiotic/Antimycotic Solution (ABAMS) is a 50mL 100x solution designed to aid researchers in reducing risks of bacterial and fungal contamination. It consists of 10,000 units/mL of Penicillin, 10,000 μg/mL of Streptomycin and 25μg/ml amphotericin B in saline solution. The penicillin interferes with the final stages of synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, while streptomycin binds to the 30S subunit causing a misread. The amphotericin enhances the permeability of the fungal cell wall, making it susceptible to the leakage of its inner contents. 1mL of ABAMS is to be used for every 99mL of medium. The solution is sterile filtered through a 0.2μm membrane filter.
