Mithramycin A (18378-89--7) 抑制 DNA 甲基转移酶。一种选择性 Sp1 抑制剂，它与富含 GC 的 DNA 序列结合，取代 Sp1 转录因子与癌基因启动子的结合，抑制它们的表达。Mithramycin A (10-200 nM) 使肿瘤细胞对 TRAIL 诱导的细胞凋亡敏感。
