ERIS分子的正确定位与其抗病毒密切相关

丁香通从北京大学生命科学学院了解到,该学院蒋争凡研究员课题组的论文 “ERIS, an ER IFN stimulator, activates innate immune signaling through dimerization” 已被美国科学院院刊(PNAS)接受,蒋争凡研究员课题组克隆并证明了一个全新基因ERIS在抗病毒中起重要作用。

ERIS蛋白是蒋争凡课题组根据其功能与定位命名的新蛋白,该蛋白的上调可强烈激活细胞内抗病毒通路并诱导产生大量的I型干扰素;ERIS定位于内质网,正确定位对其行使抗病毒的生理功能至关重要;ERIS分子中2个内质网滞留序列对其定位及维持蛋白稳定性必需;ERIS在细胞感染后发生包括泛素化、磷酸化、寡聚化的多种修饰作用;Coumermycin诱导的ERIS二聚体化可激活ERIS介导的下游信号转导通路。
