        热带季雨林（tropical monsoon forest）

        　　 在热带雨林区域中，有些地方由于受强烈季风影响，出现旱季、雨季交替的情况，因此产生热带季雨林。印度、缅甸中部和西双版纳地区都有这种雨林。和热带雨林相比，其群落高度较低，物种也较少，旱季时多数乔木落叶，季相明显，藤本和附生植物较少。
