副神经 accessory nerve

第11对脑神经是有羊膜类动物的独立的纯运动神经。由延髓根（radix myelencephalica）和脊髓根（radix spinalis）两根合一以后再分为内侧支（ramus intermus）和外侧支（ramus externus）两个分支，前者合于迷走神经，后者分布在斜方肌和哺乳类的胸锁乳突肌（musculus sternocleidomastoideus）。支配斜方肌的一支在板鳃类和两栖类时就已经出现，它是迷走神经的一部分。
