渗透势（osmotic potential）

亦称溶质势（ solute po-tential）。由于水溶液中有溶质的存在，降低了水的自由能，因而其水势低于纯水的水势，这种水势差即为该溶液的渗透势。因为纯水水势被定为零，所以渗透势为负值。某溶液的渗透势的绝对值与该溶液的渗透压的数值相等。
