外周神经纤维的终末部分。神经元通过神经末梢与体内各种组织或器官发生联系，将机体内、外环境的刺激传给神经元，或将神经元发出的神经冲动传到其他组织或器官上。神经元之间的联系也通过神经末梢来完成。根据不同的机能特点，神经末梢可分为二大类：感觉神经末梢和运动神经末梢。
