清肠 gut purge

完全变态的昆虫，特别是鳞翅目的终龄幼虫，变蛹前将消化管中的液体性残留物排出，这一过程称为清肠。清肠是幼虫向蛹变态过程初期所产生的一系列行为之一。这种终龄幼虫摄食终了后，消化管内变空，认为是蛹转向于封闭系统时，为了不携带肠的内物而进行生理上的准备。这种行为的出现，是由激素所控制的，这同诱导蛹变态的内分泌现象是一样的。仅前胸腺所分泌的蜕化激素进行作用时，引起清肠现象的出现，但如果在蜕化激素分泌前投与激素，则清肠出现的时间可被推迟。通常清肠时期在种群水平上具有日周期节律的特点，几小时内便可完成，认为这是由于前胸腺刺激具有为日周期节律系统所控制的缘故。
