偶鳍亦称侧鳍（ lateral fin）。是水生脊椎动物身体两侧成对的鳍。在鱼类中，位于前方的为胸鳍，位于后方的为腹鳍。胸鳍发达的可用来飞行（燕鳐鱼）和在水底爬行（绿鳍鱼、红鳍红娘鱼）。腹鳍可变形为交尾器（鲨鱼、鱼）和吸盘（鲙虎、狮子鱼）。裸胸鳝类缺胸鳍，鳗鲡类缺腹鳍。在陆生脊椎动物中，胸鳍和腹鳍分别发展成前肢和后肢。鲸等为第二次入水的生物，前肢又成为胸鳍。
