　　同一植株的许多叶，在与阳光垂直的平面上彼此错开生长，使叶片互不遮光，作镶嵌排列的现象。由于叶在茎上着生的方式不同（互生、对生或轮生），叶柄长短不等，以及叶柄可以产生不同角度的扭曲变化，从而使全部叶片均能以最大面积接受阳光，充分利用光能，提高光合效率。
