〔 1〕亦称胃板（ stomachal plate）。见于软体动物后鳃类的截尾海兔、黑斑海兔等胃中，是稍硬的粒状体，含有各种消化酶。在胃壁上排列十数个，随着磨碎食物自身也在磨损，而将酶供给消化液。在机能上类似晶杆，但截尾海兔，除此以外，还发现有退化的晶杆囊。这种胃齿与其它软体动物的胃盾（ ga-stric shied）相同。
〔 2〕亦指甲壳类（十足类）胃内壁的角质突起，可靠肌肉进行动作来磨碎食物。
