虹色素胞、白色素胞内光反射性的结晶构造。主要是鸟嘌呤的结晶，也有时含有腺嘌呤·6-羟基嘌呤·尿酸。在白色素胞内的反射小板形小，表现凝集，扩散运动；而在虹色素胞内的反射小板多数为大形不动性的，常常呈层状重叠，在发现干涉色上起作用。
