担轮幼虫口后方横向排列的纤毛带，为与口前纤毛环和端部纤毛环相对应的构造。在环形动物中，口后纤毛环与端部纤毛环之间的部分形成成体的围口节，与口前纤毛环前方部分（纤毛环前区），共同形成头部。口后纤毛环的后方部分称为纤毛环后区。对于角贝，形成这一部分的物质包含在第二极叶（secondpolar lobe）中。
