轴丝 axial filament，axial fiber （1）系自栉水母类的粘细胞下面到表皮层基底膜的直的丝状构造，其周围由弹性的螺旋丝围绕。（2）系海绵动物骨针辐中轴上的线状构造。中轴由钙质或硅质构成。有一种学说（A．Dendy）认为：骨针是由生活在海绵体中的细菌——成骨菌（Sclero-cocceus）在一直线上分裂、增殖，并在其周围堆积钙质、硅质而形成的，成骨菌死后的残骸或其所占空间即为轴丝。
