本试剂盒可测动物血清、血浆、组织以及食物、药物中的谷胱甘肽S转移酶的活力。谷胱甘肽S—转移酶（glutathione S—transferase GST）是一类与肝脏解毒有关的酶，在肝细胞中存在量很大，所以当肝细胞受损害时，GSH-ST常常很早释放到血中，血中GSH-ST的升高常常早于谷丙转氨酶（SGPT）和谷草转氨酶（SGOT），因而GSH-ST的升高可作为肝脏损伤的敏感指标。
　　谷胱甘肽S—转移酶广泛存在于哺乳动物各组织中，催化谷胱甘肽（GSH）与化学物质的亲电子基团结合，最终形成硫醚氨酸排出体外，在体内解毒功能上起重要作用。
GSH-ST具有消除体内过氧化物及解毒双重功能。GST在谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶（GSH-PX）活力低下的条件下，只有清除体内脂质过氧化物（LPO）的功能。

注意事项：
1. 本试剂盒的检测试剂中含有萤光素酶，反复冻融会导致其逐渐失活。尽管经测试本试剂反复冻融5次对于其检测效果无显著影响，为取得良好的使用效果，*次解冻后可适当分装保存。反复冻融过程中，可能会导致检测试剂中出现少量沉淀，此时宜平衡至室温，并尽量溶解。如仍有残留的不溶物，可以离心去除后使用，经测试不会影响后续的检测效果。
2. 检测时需使用白色或黑色的96孔板或384孔板。如果使用普通透明的96孔板或384孔板，相邻孔之间会产生相互干扰。
3. 使用说明中提供了检测ATP标准品的方法，实际检测细胞活力时通常并不需要检测ATP标准品。

Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.
