人的 IL-37 是白细胞介素 1 细胞因子家族的成员。人的 IL-37 可以
结合并且可能是白细胞介素 18 受体 (IL18R1/IL-1Rrp) 的配体。人的
IL-37 也与白细胞介素 18 结合蛋白(IL18BP), 一个抑制结合蛋白 18
(IL18), 随后形成一个复杂的 IL18 受体β亚基, 并通过它抑制IL-18的活
动。这一基因连同八其他白细胞介素 1 家族基因在 2 号染色体形成细胞
因子基因簇。五个交替拼接的成绩单变体编码不同的亚型。
IL-37是IL-18亚家族的一员，与 IL-18 受体结合后可能拮抗 IL-18 的作用。所有激动
剂能够诱导促炎细胞因子、趋化因子和共刺激分子分泌增加，引起中性
粒细胞聚集、DC 活化、Th 亚群极化及角质细胞增殖。
