单核细胞趋化蛋白 1(MCP-1)又称单核细胞趋化和激活因子(MCAF)，
属于趋化因子超家族中 CC 亚组成员。MCP-1 可由多种细胞产生，如内
膜细胞、单核/巨噬细胞、成纤维细胞、平滑肌细胞、内皮细胞及某些肿
瘤细胞等。MCP-1 可被多种炎症介质如 LPS，IL-1beta，TNF-alpha，
IFN-gamma，IL-6，IL-4 等诱导。小鼠 MCP-1 前体蛋白有 148 个氨基酸
残基，切除 23 个氨基酸的信号肽后形成 125 氨基酸残基的成熟 MCP-1
分子。在氨基酸水平上，MCP-1 与另外两种单核细胞趋化蛋白
MCP-2(HC14)和 MCP-3(NC28)分别有 62%和 72%的同源性，与 C-X-C
亚族中 IL-8 有 24％同源性。MCP-1 在多种癌症中表达上调，包括胃癌、
食管鳞癌、脑恶性胶质瘤、卵巢癌、胰腺癌、膀胱癌、乳腺癌等。
