OSTF1 is an intracellular protein produced by osteoclasts that induces bone resorption, via signaling cascade which results in the secretion of factors enhancing osteoclast formation and activity.

Anti-human OSTF1 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human OSTF1 amino acids 1-217 purified from E. coli.

OSTF1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.

1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.

For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.

OSTF1 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis, Flow cytometry and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
