Poly histidine (HHHHHH) is frequently used as affinity tag to facilitate the detection, isolation, and localaiztion of the recombinant proteins. This high affinity and specific anti-Histidine antibody is developed using HHHHHH peptide conjugated to KLH and affinity-purified with the HHHHHH peptide on Agarose. The antibody is useful for detection, isolation and localization of the His-tag proteins.
