一般描述
弹性蛋白酶是 240 个氨基酸残基的单一多肽链，含有四个二硫键。分子量约为 25.9kDa。该酶被合成为无活性的酶原，原弹性蛋白酶，其通过胰蛋白酶在 N-末端的有限蛋白水解而转化为活性形式。
