bone
Disease:
osteosarcoma
Gender:
female, 13 years, Caucasian

Culture Medium:
MEM + 10% FBS+ 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 1mM Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) We strongly suggest to purchase the complete medium
Cryopreservation medium:
90%FBS+10%DMSO
Tumor Formation:
Yes, Tumors developed within 21 days at 100% frequency (5/5) in nude mice inoculated subcutaneously with 10(7) cells.
Comments:
The cells exhibit a high saturation density, a high plating efficiency in soft agar and produce tumors in nude mice. Cells carry the Ki-MSV genome but do not produce infectious virus particles or viral antigens.
