LS-F33545 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human BCL2L11 / BIM in samples of Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of BCL2L11 / BIM as low as 0.188 nanograms per millilter.
About BCL2L11 / BIM
BCL2L11 / BIM belongs to the BCL-2 protein family. BCL-2 family members form hetero- or homodimers and act as anti- or pro-apoptotic regulators that are involved in a wide variety of cellular activities. The protein encoded by this gene contains a Bcl-2 homology domain 3 (BH3). Background
 
This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- Bcl2L11 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti- Bcl2L11 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detect ion antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Bcl2L11 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Bcl2L11 can be calculated.
