Ribonuclease Pancreatic is a secreted enzyme that belongs to the pancreatic ribonuclease family. RNASE1 is an endonuclease that cleaves internal phosphodiester RNA bonds on the 3-side of pyrimidine bases. RNASE1 prefers poly(C) as a substrate and hydrolyzes 2,3-cyclic nucleotides, with a pH optimum near 8.0. RNASE1 acts on single stranded and double stranded RNA.

Serpin Peptidase Inhibitor, Clade A (α-1 Antiproteinase, Antitrypsin), Member 4 (Serpin A4) is a member of the Serpin family. Serpin A4 exists as a monomer and some homodimers. Serpin A4 is expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. Serpin A4 is a regulator of vascular homeostasis capable of controlling a wide spectrum of biological actions in the cardiovascular and renal systems. It can inhibit intracellular reactive oxygen species formation in cultured cardiac and renal cells. In addition, Serpin A4 has anti-inflammatory effect. Heparin blocks kallistatins complex formation with tissue kallikrein and abolishes its inhibitory effect on tissue kallikreins activity.

Pleckstrin Homology-Like Domain Family A Member 2 (PHLDA2) is a peripheral membrane protein that belongs to the PHLDA2 family. PHLDA2 is expressed in the placenta and adult prostate gland. In the placenta, it is present in all cells of the villous cytotrophoblast. PHLDA2 plays a role in regulating placenta growth. PHLDA2 may act via its PH domain that competes with other PH domain-containing proteins, thereby preventing their binding to membrane lipids.
