关于VEGF121：
Human VEGF121, also known as Vascular endothelial growth factor A, VEGFA, Vascular permeability factor, VPF and VEGF, is a homodimeric, heparin-binding glycoprotein which belongs to the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)/vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family. VEGF-A is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects, including mediating increased vascular permeability, inducing angiogenesis, vasculogenesis, permeabilization of blood vessels and endothelial cell growth, increasing microvascular permeability, promoting cell migration and inhibiting apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants of VEGF-A encod either secreted or cell-associated isoforms. The lymphangiogenesis may be promoted by upregulation of VEGF121, which may in turn act in part via induction of VEGF-C. It binds to the FLT1/VEGFR1 and KDR/VEGFR2 receptors, heparan sulfate and heparin. NRP1/Neuropilin-1 binds isoforms VEGF-165 and VEGF-145. Isoform VEGF165B binds to KDR but does not activate downstream signaling pathways, does not activate angiogenesis and inhibits tumor growth.

Chemokine ligand 8 (CCL8,MCP-2), is a small secreted cytokine which belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. CCL8 Chemotactic factor attracts monocytes. It can bind heparin.CCL8 functions to activate different immune cells, including mast cells, eosinophils and basophils which are involved in allergic responses, monocytes, and T cells and NK cells which are involved in the inflammatory response. Its ability achieves by binding to different cell surface receptors termed chemokine receptors including CCR1, CCR2B and CCR5. It has been reported that CCL8 is a potent inhibitor of HIV-1 by virtue of its binding to CCR5 which is one of the major co-receptors for HIV-1.

Carboxypeptidase A1 (CPA1) is secreted as a pancreatic peptidase that comes from the precursor form of inactive procarboxypeptidase. CPA1 comprises a signal peptide, a pro region and a mature chain, and can be activated after cleavage of the pro peptide. It has a free C-terminal carboxyl group, with the preference of residues with aromatic or branched aliphatic side chains. CPA1 cleaves the C-terminal amide or ester bond of peptides and involves in zymogen inhibition. Three different forms of human pancreatic procarboxypeptidase A have been isolated. In contrast to procarboxypeptidase B which was always secreted by the pancreas as a monomer, procarboxypeptidase A occurs as a monomer and/or associated to one or two functionally different proteins, such as zymogen E.
