茅膏菜 全草有毒，球形块根药用称“一粒金丹”，和同属的锦地罗等，均含蓝雪醌（矶松素； plumbagin）、茅膏菜醌（ droserone）、羟基萘醌（ hydroxynaphthoguinone）等多种醌类成分，可供药用，粘液腺分泌物含类似胰酶的蛋白酶。捕蝇草供观赏。 貉藻属种子的化石见于英国第三纪地层，前貉藻见于德国褐炭层中。
