关于Parafibromin：
Parafibromin is expressed in the adrenal and parathyroid glands, kidney, and heart. As a tumor supressor, Parafibromin may be involved in transcriptional and post-transcriptional control pathways, also through the regulation of cyclin D1/PRAD1 expression, involved the cell cycle progression. Parafibromin is a component of the the PAF protein complex and interacts with a Set1-like complex that has histone methyltransferase activity and methylates histone H3. Defects in Parafibromin can cause hyperparathyroidism-jaw tumor syndrome, familial isolated hyperparathyroidism, and parathyroid carcinoma.

Z-DNA Binding Protein 1 (ZBP1) is a protein with 2 DRADA repeats. ZBP1 is highly expressed in lymphatic tissues including lymph node, leukocytes, tonsil, bone marrow, and spleen. ZBP1 participates in the detection of viral and bacterial DNA from by the hosts innate immune system. It plays a role in host defense against tumors and pathogens. ZBP1 Acts as a cytoplasmic DNA sensor which, when activated, induces the recruitment of TBK1 and IRF3 to its C-terminal region and activates the downstream interferon regulatory factor (IRF) and NF-kappa B transcription factors, leading to type-I interferon production. ZBP1-induced NF-kappaB activation probably involves the recruitment of the RHIM containing kinases RIPK1 and RIPK3.

关于PEA15：
Astrocyticphosphoprotein PEA-15 (PEA15) is a death effector domain (DED)-containing protein. PEA15 is mainly expressed in the central nervous system, principally in astrocytes. Increased PEA15 levels affect tumorigenesis and cancer progression. PEA15 is overexpressed in breast cancers and gliomas as well as in type 2 diabetes. PEA15 blocks Ras-mediated inhibition of integrin activation and modulates the ERK MAP kinase cascade. PEA15 also inhibits RPS6KA3 activities by holding it in the cytoplasm. In addition, PEA15 inhibits both TNFRSF6 and TNFRSF1A mediated CASP8 activity and apoptosis. At present, PEA15 expression is also a significant prognostic marker in ovarian cancer.
