关于B2M：
β-2-Microglobulin (B2M) is a secreted protein with 1 Ig-like C1-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain which belongs to the beta-2-microglobulin family. B2M component of major histocomp*(代"a")tibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Polymers of beta 2-microglobulin can be found in tissues from patients on long-term hemodialysis. B2M is a protein found on the surface of many cells and plentiful on the surface of white blood cells. Serum B2M concentration is increased in renal diseases, various malignant diseases and some inflammatory and autoimmune disorders. B2M may adopt the fibrillar configuration of amyloid in certain pathologic states. The capacity to assemble into amyloid fibrils is concentration dependent. B2M has been shown as a marker for monitoring inflammatory disease activity and it appears likely to have a destructive role in amyloidosis-related arthritis. B2M might be involved in the OA (osteoarthritis) pathogenesis. Defects in B2M are the cause of hypercatabolic hypoproteinemia. Affected individuals show marked reduction in serum concentrations of immunoglobulin and albumin, probably due to rapid degradation. B2M could be a potential therapeutic target in ovarian cancer.

Checkpoint protein HUS1 is a member of the HUS1 family, members of which are shuttled between the nucleus and cytoplasm. HUS1 is expressed in many tissues. HUS1 is a component of an evolutionarily conserved, genotoxin-activated checkpoint complex involved in arresting the cell cycle in response to DNA damage. DNA damage induced chromatin binding has been shown to depend on the activation of the checkpoint kinase ATM, and is thought to be an early checkpoint signaling event. HUS1 binds with Rad9 and Rad1 to form the 9-1-1 (RAD9-RAD1-HUS1) complex, which localizes to DNA lesions and promotes DNA damage signaling and repair or apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.

关于SDCBP：
SDCBP, also called syntenin-1, is short for Syndecan-binding protein 1. It is expressed by the gene Sdcbp. SDCBP seems to function as an adapter protein. In adherens junctions, the protein may function to couple syndecans to cytoskeletal proteins or signaling components. Meanwhile it seems to couple transcription factor SOX4 to the IL-5 receptor (IL5RA). SDCBP also play a role in vesicular trafficking, and is required for the targeting of TGFA to the cell surface in the early secretory pathway.
