L-苯丙氨酸解氨酶L-phenylalanin ammo-nialyase
缩写 PAL。是催化直接脱掉 L-苯丙氨酸上的氨而生成反式桂皮酸的酶。 EC. 4. 3. 1. 5。是 1961年 J. Koukol, E. Conn在大麦中发现的。存在于高等植物、酵母、菌类的可溶性部分。推测分子量为 30万。这是一个可把苯丙氨酸用于酚类化合物合成的酶。在很多情况下,其反应成为酚类化合物合成的有步骤的速率阶段。在组织中的活性可随外界因素而发生显著变化,用光照,病伤害,植物激素处理等会使活性显著增加。另外有时还受光敏色素所支配。在多数情况下,在组织中活性
亦称3, 4-二羟基桂皮酸。在咖啡豆中,虽与奎尼酸( quinic acid)形成结合物(氯原酸)大量存在,但在一般高等植物中常以游离酸、甲酯、奎宁酸,少数情况下以葡萄糖结合物的形态广泛存在。易受酚氧化酶的氧化,是组织发生褐色变化的重要原因之一。对植物的生长有抑制作用,是生长抑制物质——抑制剂β的成分之一。可抑制过氧化物酶、吲哚乙酸氧化酶的作用。在生物体内,它是由 L-苯丙氨酸脱氨基后生成的反式桂皮酸逐次地羟化而合成的。
